Daughters.
The empowerment that black women & girls experience from having a father figure present is unmatched. We know all about the stereotypes regarding black men not being present fathers, so I figured that it’s time to celebrate the fact that there ARE black men who want to be present for their children and there always have been. Inspired by one of my favorite Nas joints, I want to shine a light from a daughter’s perspective of what I like to call “Father Confidence”—from my Heavenly Father to my earthly father, there’s truly nothing like it.

2022 Follow Black Women Conference
On October 16th, 2022, Se’Anna supported and participated in the annual Follow Black Women Conference— held in Minneapolis MN by the Justice is Love Coalition.
